Nicole is an amazing practitioner with a wealth of knowledge who has truly helped me address and resolve health issues that so many other practitioners (MDs, functional med practitioners, naturopaths, holistic wellness practitioners, etc.) were unable to do. She is incredibly empathetic and validating and finally made me feel like I wasn't going crazy. Her constant reassurance that we would get to the bottom of things and that there were always more solutions we could employ if needed helped me stay motivated to keep going even when symptoms persisted at times. Chews Food Wisely deserves 10 stars in my opinion! I very highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their health through nutrition. I was struggling with the inability to lose weight despite regular diet and exercise; low energy levels especially in the afternoons; and unhealthy skin and hair. I suspected it was all nutrient related but I had no idea how identify it or fix it. After 20 years of dieting and exercising on a regular basis I still struggled with these issues. Nicole immediately did a deep dive into my labs and using a combination or blood and hair samples identified several nutrient deficiencies that were slowing my metabolism down. We corrected the deficiencies with better balanced meals and the weight started dropping. She has created the best educational videos to help me understand why my metabolism stalled and how to correct it. I feel so much better after her 16 week program and I learned so much!
